Advent Luncheon

Our December 3, 2023 Epiphany Family came together for a church luncheon celebrating the advent season. Our meal was provided by the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Winnipeg, Ladies of Philoptochos (https://philoptochos.stdemetrioschurch.ca/) and was enjoyed by over 85 people. The Ladies of Phioptochos program is an outreach program that promotes charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach throughout Winnipeg, Manitoba and beyond. It is only fitting that our church family came together on the first day of advent to share a meal and was prepared with a philanthropic theme.  The first day of advent represents hope, the first Sunday of Advent not only leads us to anticipate the birth of Christ but celebrate the beginning of a new season as well. Epiphany Church Council thanks all who attended, and our continued wish for our members and beyond is a season filled with hope, peace, joy and love.
