Bible & Book Studies

We are grounded in scripture and prayer and we encourage each another to question, listen and learn. Epiphany's adult education includes a couple of formats, a weekly Bible study and short term events of book study.

Weekly Bible Studies

The weekly Bible Study usually meets Monday nights from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm from the church and on zoom at the same time. We generally study the readings and gospel lesson for the upcoming Sunday. Pastor Paul leads this discussion and we welcome all to join in. Anyone interested can call the church office.

Short Term Studies

At Epiphany, we offer opportunities for reflecting, thinking and feeling in the context of Christian learning that bring us closer to a deep, personal relationship with Christ.

From time to time, we have short-term book studies (2-3 sessions). The time and place will vary. We have come together at the church, through zoom and even in the parks nearby.

Recent studies have included:

  • 'Unreconciled' by Jesse Wente

  • 'Wholehearted Faith' by Rachel Held Evans

  • 'The Bible Tells Me So...Why Defending Scripture Has Made Us Unable To Read It' by Peter Enns

  • 'Native' by Kaitlin B. Curtice

  • 'Baptized, We Live' by Daniel Erlander.
