Dr. Stan Amaladas Ph.D.

Our first series of adult educations sessions will be lead by Dr. Stan Amaladas on Sunday September 27, October 4, 18 and 25th, following the service in the library from 11:15 to noon.

Dr. Stan Amaladas Ph.D. 

Stan’s life-motto is “Chase your passion – not your pension.” Stan is currently a Research Associate with Mauro Centre for Peace and Justice, St. Paul’s College, University of Manitoba. He is also the Senior Leadership and Learning Consultant/Facilitator/Coach for the Centre for Spirited Integration, Canada. His areas of academic interest and teaching are in leadership, change, and strategic planning. Stan’s teaching and learning style is grounded in the art of storytelling.

In his various roles, Stan continues to be rooted in creating conditions that lift the human spirit, restore trust, and keep hope alive. Stan is married and they recently celebrated their 35th Wedding Anniversary. They also have two beautiful children.

His current projects include:

  • Co-editing a book: Peace Leadership: A Quest for Connectedness. It will be published through Routledge, UK.
  • Working on his book, Intentional Leadership: A Guide for Leading Positive Change. This series of adult workshops will be based on this book.
  • Developing a Post-Degree Certificate in Applied Leadership, for Okanagan College, Kelowna, British Columbia.
